BOTANICAL SPECIES: Allium Coepa.
ORIGINS: the largest production is in Europe. It is followed by Asia, North America and Egypt.
DESCRIPTION: scaly bulb of different shapes and colors depending on the areas of origin, as well as the organoleptic characteristics and the value. Regarding the shape there are spherical ones more or less crushed at the poles, fusiform, flat or pear. Colors vary from white to yellow or brown, up to purple varieties. It has a pleasant aroma, very present and a tasty taste. The onion is placed on the market (as well as obviously fresh) in powder, granules and slices, maintaining its characteristics unchanged.
USES AND APPLICATIONS: it is widely used as a condiment in the kitchen, in the food and canning industry.
STORAGE METHODS: The product should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.
MINIMUM SHELF LIFE: 24/36 months in compliance with the storage methods.
