BOTANICAL SPECIES: Allium sativum

BACKGROUNDS: it is native to Central Asia and the Middle East. In Italy two precious qualities are cultivated: the Venetian one and that of Naples.

DESCRIPTION: it is a bulb composed of various ovoid bulbils – lanceolate of acrid smell and taste, intense and characteristic and whitish in color.

USES AND APPLICATIONS: it is widely used as a condiment for the flavoring of all kinds of foods and food preserves. In the medical field it has enjoyed for centuries a well-deserved reputation for its multiple healing properties.

STORAGE METHODS: The product should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.

MINIMUM SHELF LIFE:  24/36 months in compliance with the storage methods.
