BOTANICAL SPECIES: Petroselinum Sativum Hoff.
ORIGINS: it is commonly cultivated in southern and central Europe (where we have the best qualities), in England, in northern Africa and in western Asia.
DESCRIPTION: it is a perennial grass with a smooth stem, with alternate and opposite branches, petiolate leaves, divided into small wedged leaflets. The whole plant is of a beautiful green color, gives off a characteristic aromatic smell and has a special taste. The leaves lend themselves to being dried while preserving unchanged flavor and aroma.
USES AND APPLICATIONS: parsley leaves serve mainly as a condiment in gastronomy and in the canning industry
