The “Senatore Cappelli” is an ancient and late variety of durum wheat never subjected to genetic modifications that was rediscovered and enhanced by Senatore Cappelli, at the beginning of the twentieth century for its great adaptability, rusticity and the excellent quality of the semolina obtained. It is a very tall grain (150/160 cm) and does not compete with other weeds. It is grown in the sun of the Apulian Murge. Drawing: bronze.
